Karly teaches beginners through intermediate riders from their first tack up to their first show, even
to their first horse!! As always, stressing the importance of horsemanship and riding basics/fundamentals. Lessons are available
in Dressage (Intro thru 1st Level), Jumping, Beginner Cross Country, Western (Gaming and Pleasure), Pleasure/Trail Riding.

and western lessons at The Stables at Cedar Farm in Rising Sun, MD! Nice, quiet atmosphere and horses. Lighted outdoor ring,

We offer group,
semi-private and private English and Western riding lessons on a year-round basis. Classes are held weekly and our schedule
accommodates all age and experience levels.

“Ground Lessons” are
lessons that are done unmounted. Sometimes they are “classroom” and sometimes in the barn with

Wee Trotters (ages 2-6) are 30-45 minute lead-line lessons, including tacking and untacking.
$18 per lesson or get the reduced price when you register with a pre-paid block of 4 lessons.

Lessons run for 45 - 60 minutes. With grooming and tacking/ untacking before and after the lesson. (roughly
15 min before and after). Please arrive 20 minutes before lesson to get horse ready.
Lessons are given rain or shine. If weather is bad we will have
a “ground lesson”. If county schools are closed due to inclement weather, lessons will be canceled and rescheduled.
Lessons must be canceled
24 hours in advance for make up lesson to be rescheduled.
Blocks of lessons must be used within 6 weeks of purchase time. Make-up lessons will
be week 5 or 6. after that unused lessons will be forfeited.
