Cedar Farm is situated on over 34 acres in Rising Sun, MD. It was once a dairy farm and before that it was home
to a flower mill. In the recent past it was renovated to a horse farm for thoroughbreds. We have 2 barns, lighted
outdoor arena, 10 paddocks, the rolling "North East Creek" and plenty of open space.
We are about 7.9 miles away from Fair Hill, 4 miles from the PA line, 5 miles from I-95 and 12 miles from the DE line. We
are nestled back away from the road where it is very quiet and there is always a breeze.
All of our fence is 4 board and most of our
paddocks have water directly run to them. (hopefully soon they all will) It is a work in progress!

We do rotate our fields so that we make sure that our grass has a chance to recoupe what the horses have eaten.
We also have a few residents that help us with this feet. We have a couple of sheep and a couple of calves that we rotate
behind the horses, helping to keep the grass at its peak! The sheep and cows are never turned out with the horses, we
just put them in the rotation behind the horses since they are not as "picky" about what they eat!
